Our head office - The model railways

The Club Ferroviari de Terrassa at this moments has three model railways, for its members use, to make them able to bring their own trains and make them run. The Club has a big model railway at H0 scale and two smaller model railways at N scale. We are working hard on the H0 model railway, especially on the electricity and decoration stage. It is being thought to build a N scale model railway more appropiated than the nowadays ones.

Big model railway in H0 scale  Two current types (direct and alternating) that work in analogic and digital systems  There's a total of four circuits (two in direct and two in alternating system)  The model railway is all in double track, one double track for direct current and the other one for alternating current  The alternating current circuits are in the horizontal plane all along its route  The direct current circuits have a drop describing a kind of "8"  At the station there's a shared track for direct and alternating current  The turntable and depot have also shared tracks for the two current systems  There's a H0m scale tram in a single track circuit  There're a total of 6 tunels and 4 bridges (one of them form the tram)
